Equally overwhelming is the response by many people who have shown their support for the affected by giving food, clothes and medicines as well as volunteers lending their helping hand in reconstruction of the dwelling place apart from other forms of charity such as educating children, tending to the sick and needy & elderly and so on.

Giving a helping hand in situations like this makes us human and reiterates the fact that all are equal as far as Nature is concerned, because it does not discriminate between the rich and poor, haves and have-nots. All must face the fury whenever there is a natural calamity.
